Techland is offering an exclusive opportunity for PC gamers to experience Dying Light 2: Stay Human without cost. For a limited weekend, players can dive into the Reloaded Edition and explore all the enhancements it brings. The game will be available for free from now until 6 pm UK time on Monday, 26th February. This trial includes a special welcome pack that players can keep if they decide to return to the game.

Should players choose to purchase the game after the trial, all progress made during this period will be saved. Additionally, the Reloaded Edition, featuring the inaugural story DLC, Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Bloody Ties, and a highly-anticipated update for firearms, is being offered at a 50% discount.

Techland encourages this as the perfect moment for players to jump into the action, highlighting that the edition is packed with the best updates, quests, missions, and much more. However, it's important to note that the free trial is exclusively available on Steam and not on the Epic Games Store or any console platforms.

Recently, Techland announced entering into a strategic partnership with Tencent, where the latter will become a majority shareholder. Techland's CEO, Paweł Marchewka, expressed optimism about the partnership, proclaiming that it will enable the team to accelerate the realization of their vision for their games. He emphasized that Tencent, having collaborated with several leading video game companies, will respect their creative independence while helping them achieve new milestones. Moreover, Techland maintains complete ownership of its intellectual properties, ensuring their creative liberties are preserved.
